World largest armored vehicles collection!
Kubinka Tank Museum is the world’s largest collection of tanks made in USSR, and also German and Japanese tanks captured by Red Army as trophies in World War II. There are some WWII British/American war machines presented, too. Some tanks were found on the battlefields 60 years after the war. During the Perestroika period, Gorbachev exchanged tanks with his “Cold War” enemies, and the museum also features foreign tanks from the 60’s and 70’s. Apart from that, such rarities as a captured British tank of First World War are on display.
